Château La Ressaudie
Located on the slopes of the right bank of the Dordogne, château "La Ressaudie", has belonged to the same family since 5 generations. The estate has been famous for its wines since the early 19th century, at which time it was praised in the reference work "Bordeaux and its wines" (Cocks and Féret).
Thanks to outstanding clay-sand soil and south facing sun exposure, the 22 hectares of vines produce wine of exceptional quality. Fifteen hectares are given over to red wine varieties. The vines are: 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec. The exact proportions can vary according to the vintage. Winemaking is overseen by a qualified Oeunologist.

The Rosé wine is made par saigné ("bleeding") vats of Cabernet grapes.

The estate's dry white and semi-sweet wines are made from seven hectares Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc vines.

Certain special selections of red and white wines are aged in oak barrels to give them more richness, complexity and aging potential..
A neat presentation.
